Sam Marino

Hello, my name is Sam Marino,  I am a retired auto worker of 46 years and will be 72 on May 19th. I live in Warren, Ohio and enjoy being a musician and artist.  I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in 2012 and have been treated at the Hope Center For Cancer Care.  My cancer slowly progressed and I had to receive chemo for it in 2017.  I will always have CLL, but right now it’s stable.  Now, every other month or so I receive antibody infusions to boost my challenged immune system.  

After chemo, I took my wife Dot and 2 beautiful daughters to Hawaii to celebrate my retirement and successful chemotherapy. They have been a wonderful support system along with my new son-in-law. It was a joy to sing at my youngest daughter’s wedding and I am thrilled to soon meet my first grandson.
