What We Do

Challenge to Conquer Cancer is an annual charity bicycle ride (relay-style) from Greenville, SC to Lewiston, ME.  The ride typically takes place in September/October.  For the Seven Day Event, the team will leave Greenville on a Saturday and arrive in Lewiston the following Friday.  While in Lewiston, the team participates in events (5K Walk and 25 mile bike ride) at the Dempsey Challenge.  For the Two Day Event, riders will leave Saturday and return Sunday evening.

The relay consists of four to five teams of up to 5 riders each.  The teams will ride, relay-style, over several days along the approximately 1300-mile route. Each team will ride from 4-5 hours each day (depending on number of teams) and, when finished, will hand off to the next team.  The entire ride is fully supported with SAG vehicles and medical teams.
