Kelli Pellerin

Kelli DeNeen Pellerin, 56, lost her courageous and well-fought battle with breast cancer on May 10, 2025. Kelli fought each day with a smile on her face and still finding time to help others.  Upon completing her degree in Psychology, she dedicated herself to the children of the Upstate as a Child Life Specialist with PRISMA. The majority of her 30-year career was in the Children’s Emergency Center but she also volunteered with the Children’s Advocacy Center and Make-A-Wish. In 2006, she received the prestigious Caregiver-Of-The-Year award.

Kelli’s biggest passion was her family. She and her husband, Henry, have two children (Olivia and Jake) and she taught them how to care for others, to be kind and to love others. Kelli was truly selfless in everything she did, and she left a legacy that will not be forgotten.  Kelli is an example of how one person can change the world and she did so by Being Kind, Love Everyone Well and no matter how busy life gets, there is always time to help others.

Kelli was nominated by Jim Kaltenbach.
