Teresa Staggs had a routine mammogram at the beginning of May where an abnormal mass was found in her lymph node. Following a biopsy, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and a PET scan was done on 6/12. She began chemotherapy treatments in early July at Bon Secours Cancer Center in Greenville. As several members of her family have had breast cancer, she will be undergoing additional genetic testing in the near future. She has three adult children and two grandchildren. Teresa lives with her husband in Belton, SC.
